King Julian is from the Spring 2013 "April Fools" litter between Primo and Elin. He lives here at Abbaio and I am very excited for his future! I affectionately refer to his mother, Elin, as "The Lemur", so he gets his name from the character King Julian, King of the Lemurs, from the movie Madagascar. King Julian made his ring debut at the tender age of 9 months winning his first point and a Bred by Exhibitor Group 1st in his very first show! He finished his championship at 10.5 months old in February 2013 and wasn't shown again until 4 months later when he was Best of Opposite at the IHCUS Supported Entry to the #1 Ibizan in the country. King Julian shows a lot of promise on the field, is very eager to learn and may soon compete in Rally, and is also a very kind, funny dog who will make an excellent charge in the junior showmanship ring!
