This is the second litter of Abbaio Ibizan Hounds. PRIMO was the first puppy from my first litter and was always a stand-out. He finished his championship in limited showing at 18 months of age, breeder-owner-handled, winning the breed over a special along the way. In Early 2013 he went to live in VA with a junior handler who won a Hound Group 4th with him in their first show together, piloting him to #10 Ibizan (All-Breed) in 2013 and #11 (All-Breed) in 2014 with multiple group placements and an IHCUS Supported Entry BOB. -This is his first litter. ELIN was breeder-owner-handled to her championship at 8 months of age by Jeannie Armstrong. She came to live at Abbaio at 10 months of age and had much success as a special, ending 2011 as the #9 Breed/#7 All-Breed Ibizan Hound after having competed for half of the year. She finished her grand championship owner-handled at 16 months of age, won Best in Field at the 2011 IHCUS National Specialty AKC Field Trial and an Award of Excellence at Eukanuba. In very limited showing (about 4 cumulative months), Elin finished 2012 as the #1 Owner-Handled (breed)/#3 Breed and All-Breed Ibizan, was Best of Breed at Westminster, Select at Beezerfest and the IHCUS National Specialty, the first owner-handled Bronze Grand Champion, High Scoring Open at the IHCUS National Specialty AKC Field Trial to finish her Field Championship (and become a Dual Champion) and was awarded three all breed Bests in Field at AKC lure coursing events. This is her first litter.
