This is the seventeenth litter born at Abbaio. Jovian is from my thirteenth litter between Scorpio (from my third litter) and Elin. He is a medium-sized dog with moderate angles, free and easy movement and an outstanding temperament. He has a strong topline, beautiful feet and tail carriage and a pleasing head. He earned 13 points with 3 majors, including a Best of Breed over a top special at a hound specialty, at the age of 8 months. He then sat out of the show ring and began lure coursing, returning to the ring at 16 months of age to finish his championship during Royal Canin week with a Best of Opposite over multiple specials and Best of Winners at the AKC/Royal Canin National Championship! He finished his field/dual championship over the course of the next year, and retired just before this litter was born. Maia is from my third litter between Orion and Stella (from my first litter). She is a nice-sized bitch with moderate angles, a very pretty head and an always-happy attitude. She is not overdone in any way and aged like a fine wine, finishing her championship at 5 years of age and beginning her lure coursing career after turning 7, finishing her field championship title in just a few weekends. After a few attempts at breeding, I am so pleased with this one and only litter from Maia who passed on her sweet, loving temperament to both of her puppies.
