Stella is from the Spring 2011 "Italian" litter between Sergio and Klementine. At 6 months and 3 days old she debuted at the 2011 IHCUS National Specialty going Best of Opposite in Sweepstakes, following that with a major Reserve at one of the following supported entries. She was finished at 12 months old breeder-owner-handled from the bred-by class. Stella is extremely outgoing and loves to be the center of attention. I call her my "Golden Retriever in an Ibizan suit" because she has never met a stranger. She completed the requirements for her Junior Courser title the same day she finished her Championship. In May 2013, Stella won her first group placement, becoming the third group placing puppy from the "Italian" litter, the second in the USA. She was Select at the IHCUS Supported Entry in Philadelphia in December 2013 and finished her Grand Championship in February 2014. At the 2014 IHCUS National Specialty, Stella won her open stake in AKC lure coursing for a 5 point major! In January 2017, Stella finished her field championship in style winning a Best in Field and becoming the first Abbaio Dual Champion! At the 2017 NLCC, Stella won 1st in Veterans both days, tied for the highest combined score in Ibizan Hounds, won the Breeder Stake with her great-niece Dharma, won High Scoring Dual Champion Ibizan Hound and on to win the "Flatout Trophy" for High Scoring Dual Champion of All Breeds! After not having competed in agility for 4.5 years due to life getting in the way, Stella won Highest Scoring Ibizan in Trial at the 2018 IHCUS National Specialty agility trial and earned her Novice Jumper title! At the 2018 NLCC, Stella again won 1st in Veterans both days, had the highest combined score, won the Breeder Stake again with her great-niece, Dharma, not only for Ibizans but also for All Breeds, and was the Highest Scoring Veteran in Trial of all breeds! 2 months shy of her 10th birthday, Stella completed her LCX title!
