Venus is from the Spring 2020 "Paradise" litter between Murfee and Iris. She lives in Florida with her co-owner Lisa Puskas (Paradise Ibizans)! Venus earned her Trick Novice title at 12 weeks of age and won the Puppy Hound group at her debut match at 13 weeks! She shows a lot of promise, has a fabulous temperament and has yet to meet a stranger! In her first show she won Best of Winners for 2 points and won both of her majors the next weekend! At her first field trial she won Best of Breed in an entry of 11 Ibizans for a 5 point major! Her third weekend out, Venus finished her championship in just 7 shows! In her first month as a special, Venus earned her grand championship! In her 4th weekend on the field, Venus earned her field championship making her a dual champion! In very limited showing in the first half of her first year as a special, Venus became a multiple group placer, Best of Opposite at Westminster and won her first Hound Group 1st! She is a fourth generation Hound Group winner, the last three of which have been born here at Abbaio! She was awarded 1st Award of Excellence at Royal Canin in December of 2022. After a 5 month hiatus from the show ring, Venus returned for 3 days in a row where she won Best Junior Handler with her friend Tatum at Bucks County KC, Best of Breed and Group 2nd behind the #1 Hound in the country at Trenton KC, and Select Bitch at Westminster 2023!
